Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics

Reporting to the President and serving as a member of the President’s Cabinet, the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics (VPIA)is the senior officer for the University’s intercollegiate athletic programs. The VPIA implements the institution’s vision for intercollegiate athletics consistent with the institution’s educational mission and philosophy. The VPIA is also responsible for creating an environment that prioritizes sportsmanship and civility, student-athlete well-being, and diversity and inclusivity. The VPIA is a strategic and visionary leader advancing student-centered extracurricular experiences and holistic wellness efforts through a lens of inclusive practice and equity.
