Timothy L. Killeen, vice chancellor for research and president of the Research Foundation of the State University of New York (SUNY), was named the 20th president of the University of Illinois on Wednesday, pending formal approval by the Board of Trustees at its Jan. 15 meeting in Chicago.

The Nashville Public Education Foundation has announced the hiring of Margaret Di Giulio as Director of Development, where she will lead development and fundraising efforts for the organization. Di Giulio previously served as Director of Development for Pittsburgh Filmmakers.

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity has announced the hiring of Joseph Lessard as Vice President for Finance. Lessard previously served as Senior Director of Finance for Reed Construction Data, where he held P&L responsibility for an $80 million US and Canadian portfolio.
