Baltimore, M.D. - In an email to the campus community, UMBC President Valerie Sheares Ashby has announced that Tiffany D. Tucker will join the university August 15 as Director of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation. 

Memphis, TN – The University of Memphis has named Dr. Ed Scott as its next Senior Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 22, 2024. Scott has served as Deputy Athletics Director at the University of Virginia since January 2022 and comes to Memphis with previous athletics director experience at Morgan State University.

Seattle, WA - Kurt Svoboda has joined the University of Washington athletic department as Deputy Athletic Director for External Relations, Director of Athletics Pat Chun announced today. Svoboda is the fourth and final member of UW's deputy athletic leadership, alongside Kim Durand, Shannon Kelly and Erin O'Connell.

Caparro is the 15th Director of Athletics at AU, and will begin his duties on June 1, succeeding Dr. Billy Walker as he retires after more than 11 years.
