JOHNSON CITY – (May 5, 2021) Following an extensive national search, Kimberly D. McCorkle, J.D. has been named as the new Provost and Senior Vice President for Academics at East Tennessee State University.  She will assume this role in July, succeeding Dr. Wilsie S.

Kennesaw State University has named Lesley Netter-Snowden as assistant vice president for campus services, effective immediately.

The Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) welcomes Joanna Mott, Ph.D., as provost and vice president for Academic Affairs for the university after a national search.

Gary T. Henry, a nationally recognized education policy scholar who has worked extensively in establishing educational partnerships and improving pre-K and K-12 school performance, has been named the next dean of the University of Delaware College of Education and Human Development.

Joyce McConnell, provost and vice president for academic affairs at West Virginia University, has been named as the finalist to become the 15th president of Colorado State University.

Jack Hu, vice president for research at the University of Michigan, has been named the University of Georgia’s next senior vice president for academic affairs and provost, effective July 1.

Russell Taichman, DMD, DMSc, has been named dean of the UAB School of Dentistry following a national search. His appointment will begin in July 2019, and Taichman will be the school’s ninth dean.
