Ensuring excellence in education requires strong leadership every step of the way, from pre-K to post-grad. The Nashville Public Education Foundation (NPEF), an organization that provides private support for strategic initiatives in Nashville's public school system, turned to PES when it needed to recruit the right person to lead the organization.

PES' expertise in education enabled them to recruit top quality candidates for NPEF, including Shannon Hunt, who was selected as president.

The Nashville native's extensive communications experience and deep community ties stemming from her time as Mayor Phil Bredesen's aide and press secretary positioned her well to advocate for transformation in the city's schools. Hunt hit the ground running to plan the Foundation's 10th annual Public Schools Hall of Fame event honoring individuals who advance the cause of public education and extraordinary alumni of the Nashville public school system. The celebration was held at the Country Music Hall of Fame on April 8 and was a tremendous success.
