Parker Executive Search proudly sponsored the inaugural Georgia Southern University Foundation Southern Classic Golf Tournament at the world-class Peachtree Golf Club in Atlanta. Proceeds from the tournament benefit student scholarships at Georgia Southern University.

"The Foundation is very excited to be a part of so many positive things going on at Georgia Southern University," said Georgia Southern University Foundation Chair Thomas Bond ('71, '73). "To host the Foundation's first golf tournament at a world-renowned course like Peachtree Golf Club is an honor. We are really looking forward to hosting the event, and we hope golf enthusiasts will take advantage of the opportunity to play one of the finest golf venues in the world while also supporting Georgia Southern."

The Foundation's goal for the tournament, Bond said, is to raise more than $100,000. Bond also serves on the committee for the tournament along with fellow Foundation board member and committee chair Jim Medbery; David Settles, an incoming Foundation board member and Jim Van Epps ('77). Bond added the event wouldn't be possible without the assistance of Hicks Milner ('76), a member of PGC.
