CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College William V. Campbell Director of Athletics Blake James announced today that Bill O'Brien has accepted the position as the Gregory P. Barber '69 and Family Head Coach of the BC football program. O'Brien, a  former head coach of Penn State and the Houston Texans, will be introduced to the media and campus community on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 11 a.m. inside the Barber Room on the second floor of the Yawkey Athletics Center.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The all-time winningest coach in the Naval Academy, Ken Niumatalolo, will be San José State’s 30th head football coach in program history, announced Director of Athletics Jeff Konya on Sunday. Niumatalolo won a program-best 109 games, led Navy to 10 bowl games over 15 seasons and is a three-time American Athletic Conference (AAC) Coach of the Year (2015, '16, '19). He earned the 2019 Stallings Award, presented to the college football head coach who is both a humanitarian and an exceptional head coach.

MACON – Athletics department officials at Mercer University announced Thursday morning that 21-year collegiate coaching veteran Mike Jacobs has been named as the football program's 21st head coach.
 

SEATTLE – The University of Washington has named national Coach of the Year Finalist Jedd Fisch its new Head Football Coach, it was announced today by UW Director of Athletics Troy Dannen. Fisch will be formally introduced to the UW community and members of the media on Tuesday, January 16th at 11:00 a.m. in Husky Stadium.

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Stony Brook University Director of Athletics Shawn Heilbron and President Maurie McInnis have named Billy Cosh the third head coach in Stony Brook football's Division I era, as announced on Wednesday.
