Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi announces Dr. Julie Anne Hoff as Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CONHS).

Dr. Arthur E. “Art” Frankel, who led cancer research and clinical programs for three decades across the South, has been named chief of medical oncology at USA Mitchell Cancer Institute.

Dr. Marcia Katz, a nationally recognized clinical leader at Baylor College of Medicine and the Texas Medical Center, is joining UCF's College of Medicine as Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs.

Gregory Christiansen, D.O., M.Ed., FACOEP-D, chair and associate professor of emergency medicine at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, was named dean of the DMU College of Osteopathic Medicine. He will take office on Dec. 1.

Dr. John V. Marymont has been named vice president for medical affairs and dean of the College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama.  Marymont currently is chair of the department of orthopedics at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at Shreveport.

The College of Health Sciences has named Kathryn S. Keim, PhD, RD, LDN, chairperson of the Department of Clinical Nutrition. She had served as the acting chairperson for the past year.

A long-time UCF professor and administrator has been named dean of the University of Central Florida’s College of Nursing after a national search for the position.

Emory & Henry College has named the founding chair and program director for its developing Physician Assistant Program, as part of its continued expansion of the School of Health Science in Marion, Va.
