The University of Central Arkansas recently announced that Michael Hargis will be the next provost and executive vice president of Academic Affairs.

December 12, 2023 — The University of Memphis Board of Trustees today approved long-time FedEx Corp. executive Rene Bustamante as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer­/Chief Financial Officer for the University. Bustamante will join the University on Jan. 2.

University of Washington Provost Mark A. Richards today announced Dianne Harris will become dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, beginning Sept. 1.

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG) today announced Dr. M. Brian Blake as finalist for the Georgia State University presidency. Blake is currently executive vice president for Academic Affairs and provost of George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C.

During the May LSU Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board named William Tate IV, Education Foundation Distinguished Professor and Provost & Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of South Carolina, as the next LSU president.
