The City of Atlanta has named William M. Johnson as Deputy COO for the city. Johnson's responsibilities include Senior Leadership and Executive Oversight of the Department of Watershed Management, The Department of Public Works, the Renew Atlanta Bond Program, and all Transportation Initiatives. This includes a capital program budget in excess of $2B, operating budgets in excess of $600M, and many of the major drivers of economic development throughout the City. Johnson previously served as Director of the City of Baltimore's Department of Transportation.
