Wushuang Ma has been named the Director of Treasury for Enviva, based in Bethesda, Maryland.  Founded in 2004, Enviva is the world’s largest producer of wood pellets – a small and seemingly ordinary product that is helping solve intractable challenges of energy and the environment and delivering real results.  Enviva owns and operates six plants strategically located in the southeastern United States that produce nearly 3 million metric tons of wood pellets annually. They export their pellets primarily to power plants in the United Kingdom and Europe that previously were fueled by coal, enabling them to reduce their lifetime carbon footprint by about 80%.  Enviva makes its pellets using sustainable practices that protect Southern forests.

Ma joins Enviva in this newly created Director of Treasury role from Lightstone Group in Manhattan where he served as Assistant Treasurer.  Prior to his time there, he worked at Lend Lease Corporation.
