The Atlanta Braves have hired a new chief financial officer and promoted a pair of longtime Braves executives to CEO positions.
The team said Jill Robinson will be executive vice president & CFO of Braves Holdings LLC, with financial oversight for both the Atlanta Braves and Braves Development Company. She served 15 years with McKesson Corporation, serving most recently as the senior vice president, chief financial officer of McKesson Technology Solutions.
“We are delighted to have Jill, a world-class senior financial executive, join our executive team,” said Terry McGuirk Chairman & CEO of Braves Holdings. “Her experience raises our financial planning and reporting capabilities to match the expansion of our business successes. She will bring a wealth of knowledge to our baseball operations and real estate ventures, as well as the intricacies of functioning as a public company.”
The Braves are owned by Liberty Media, but they have their own tracking stock (Nasdaq: BATRA) and are considered one of a handful of publicly owned sports teams in the world.
