Sabrina Andrews has been named executive director of the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment and Analytics (OIRAA) for the University of South Carolina System. She joined the university on February 29.

Ms. Andrews previously served as director of the Office of Institutional Research at the University of Akron where she reorganized and rebuilt the office, providing guidance for collection and dissemination of Vision 2020, Akron’s strategic plan. She has also served as director of the Office of Institutional Research and university data administrator at the University of Central Florida and the Coordinator of Research for the Florida Board of Regents. 

Ms. Andrews received her master’s degree in higher education administration and her bachelor’s degree in business management from Florida State University. She also completed graduate courses in business analytics and business intelligence at the University of Akron. 

As executive director of OIRAA, Ms. Andrews will oversee and coordinate the USC-Columbia and USC-System office responsible for internal and external reporting and analysis support of the University’s mission, planning and strategic decision-making. The OIRAA supports data needs and reports, including those of colleges and schools, enrollment management, university communications, USC-System strategic planning and other offices.
